Freedom Church exists to intentionally equip and empower people to be free in every area of their life. We are a church where all people can experience the transforming power of the presence of God. We have a unique story and a dynamic vision to be used by God to bring a word of life and restoration to South Florida. At Freedom Church, part of our desire is to add significance to your life and destiny. We exist just for you and your long-term spiritual development. That’s why every week we come together to for authentic worship experiences that allow us to give God glory. We’re not just here to be another church on the block. We are committed to maintaining a “come as you are” culture where authenticity is the defining characteristic. Pastor Derek

Pastor Derek is a native Miamian born to hard working parents with deep southern roots. It was at the young age of 16 that he felt the call to ministry, which marked his path for decades to come. He is the Lead Pastor and Visionary of Freedom Church (formally known as Believers Life Worship Center). His genuine love for people and passion to see the lost become saved, has gained him respect from many.

Angela Tillman

Angela Tillman has been blessed with an awesome gift of music and composition. She has written numerous songs and leads Freedom Church into the presence of God through her love for praise and worship and most of all, her love for the Lord. She co-labors with her husband and is the Worship Arts Pastor.
